Rita Danquah

Rita Danquah is a seasoned downstream oil and gas professional with over a decade of experience in risk management, commercial operations and strategy within the energy sector. She currently serves as the Strategy Manager at Juwel Energy Limited, where she plays a key role in shaping business direction and driving strategic initiatives.



Prior to this, she held progressive roles within the organisation across risk management, trading, and credit control, building extensive expertise in managing financial and operational risks in a dynamic market environment. Since joining Juwel Energy Limited in 2014, Rita has contributed significantly to strengthening the company’s risk and credit management framework. She has led the development and implementation of robust credit control policies and procedures, and her strong credit assessment and recovery strategies have supported the achievement of zero bad debt, enhancing financial stability and operational efficiency.

Rita combines strong technical expertise with financial and strategic insight to deliver sustainable business growth and improved performance in a competitive energy landscape.

She holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Master of Science (MSc) in Electrical Engineering from Saint Petersburg Electrotechnical University, Russia. She has further specialized in petroleum product trading and risk management through certifications from the Oxford Princeton Programme (UK), as well as Risk Management for Corporate Leadership at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
