Lawrence Adjei-Twum

Lawrence Twum Adjei is a highly accomplished operations and business professional with extensive experience in the downstream oil and gas sector across Ghana and the broader West African sub-region. He currently serves as the Operations Manager at Juwel Energy Limited, and leads export operations to several West African markets, while managing operational risks to enhance margins and overall efficiency.

He began his professional journey at Juwel Energy Limited as an Accounts Receivable Officer and Credit Controller, before transitioning into the role of Risk and Compliance Officer, where he contributed to strengthening internal controls and mitigating business risks. He later moved into Marketing and Business Development, managing key accounts for leading oil marketing companies, including Vivo Energy Ghana (Shell), TotalEnergies Ghana, and Engen Ghana. He subsequently advanced to the role of Assistant Operations and Trade & Commerce Manager, where he led engagements with major international oil trading firms. His career reflects a consistent track record of leadership, adaptability, and high performance within the energy sector.

He holds a First-Class Bachelor of Science (BSc.) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Coventry University, UK. He also holds professional certifications in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM-UK) and in Petroleum Products Trading from Mennta Energy Solutions, USA.
